Chinese smartphone brand Vivo has launched two new devices in its Y series, Y28e and Y28s . Both these phones have a starting price of Rs 10,999. Y28e was launched in the Indian offline market last month and is now also available through online retailers. Let us know in detail about the price and features of both these phones.
Display of Vivo Y28e and Y28s
Talking about the display of both these Vivo smartphones, they have a 6.56-inch HD + LCD screen on the front, which has a refresh rate of 90Hz and peak brightness of 840 nits. They come in MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ 5G processor, which features up to 8GB of RAM. These phones work on FunTouch OS 14 based on Android 14.
Camera of Vivo Y28e and Y28s
In terms of camera, the Y28s features a 50MP primary camera with Sony IMX852 sensor at the rear and a 2MP secondary camera. While for selfies and video calling, it has an 8MP front camera.
On the other hand, the Vivo Y28e features a 13MP main camera, a 2MP secondary camera, and a 5MP front camera.
Battery of Vivo Y28e and Y28s
Both phones are backed by a 5000mAh battery that supports 15W flash charging. Both models come in 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB RAM options with 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 1TB via microSD.
Features of Vivo Y28e and Y28s
The Vivo Y28s features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, which the Y28e does not. Both devices come with IP64 rating, which makes them dust and water resistant. Connectivity options include 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS + GLONASS and USB Type-C port. Both models also have a 3.5mm audio jack.
Price of Vivo Y28e and Y28s
Now talking about the price of Vivo Y28e, you can buy it at a starting price of Rs 10,999. This price is for the 4GB + 64GB variant. While the top 4GB + 128GB variant is priced at Rs 11,999.
On the other hand, Vivo Y28s comes at a starting price of Rs 13,999, which is for the 4GB + 128GB variant. Its 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB variants are priced at Rs 15,499 and Rs 16,999.
